Quakehold 70280 Emergency Pack August 13, 2010 D. Cederquist This is great for an emergency, the pack has the vital things like water food bars. enough for three days
I think this pack is a great starting point. I think it would be good to create your own grab and go. I put things in there that are not included in this pack. plus I bought my own back pack which is far larger.
This pack is small. Some of the items in my larger pack quality compass paracord leatherman 300 multi tool waterproof matches. magnifying glass. water treatment tablets extra emergency blankets flint starter. A small hammer
Extra bandages, I am not finished with this yet, but you get the idea things you may not be able to do without
in any emergency situation. I do recomend the quake kit!!!But also make your own you can never be over prepared.
Good for Emergency September 18, 2009 M. Hawk 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
This product makes no false statements. You get what it says. It is very much only for an emergency. The bag is small enough to make it a daily travler in any car. The first aid kit is just enough for basic cuts and such. The bag has about a 4" by 4" section to keep additional items like a multi-tool and flashlight. Do not expect a large bag for "survial" equipment, it is a basic emergency kit.
Is that really food? May 25, 2009 Keroberus (Los Angeles, CA USA) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Hopefully I'll never need to find out if that brick they call food in this bag is edible. But, it is really a complete package, and small enough to haul in your car, just in case. Can't be too careful in earthquake country.
Easy, affordable emergency solution... May 5, 2009 D. Pearlman (Santa Monica, CA) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I live in Santa Monica and with all the little shakers that we've been experiencing, I realized that I can't keep delaying my purchasing of an emergency kit. I looked at a bunch of different ones available on Amazon and elsewhere, and this one seemed to be the best combination of value and quality. Because I had already bought a survival radio, my options were limited...
The strangest aspect about these things are their limited shelf life. Part of you wants to use it because you spent money on it, then the rational part of your brain reminds you that you never want to be in such a dire situation!
So here is to being prepared...
IT WORKS! April 21, 2009 ClarkstonCracker (Clarkston, MI) 59 out of 102 found this review helpful
Purchased this with my prime account, and paid extra for the overnight delivery. When it arrived, I promptly kicked my wife out of my house and tossed her this pack. I let her back in three days later and she was alive. This has proven to me that it works and I now keep one in my truck.
