The Afghanistan War and Consequences, The Latest Situation Reports
The Afghanistan war has been in progress from 2001 to the present. The Taliban were originally removed from power. Military forces have sense hunted fugitives in the country as they have struggled to exercise some kind of control over the situation. The number of troops has steadily grown over time but the Taliban have continued to operate in the country. An insurgency of considerable strength has also developed in Pakistan who shares a border with Afghanistan. Conflict and suffering by tribal people and innocent victims of the fighting continues without let up.
